This is a hard one... but I’d go with D. The reason for doing so is that these three religions are essentially arguing over who should control this land. The Islam believe they should, the Christians believe they should and Judists believe they should.

We DO know that answer C is incorrect because Hindus do not make up the majority of the population.

I would also say I don’t believe A is the answer, because being an economic and political capital doesnt automatically make the city controversial.
