Lord of the Flies explained some things that we now see today, such as leading or being the follower and being good and evil. There are something's I'd like to point out though, which is the fact that the kids were between ages of 6 and 12 I believe, and they had no grown up. They were thriving to surive with food and shelter. They had no one to tell them to do, and they were lost in control, which then leads them to do the unbelievable. So answering your question, the message is relevant.

Rewrite the paragraph below into simple present tense.
nordsb [41]

Answer:

Professions develop ethical standards and codes for a number of reasons. First, ethical standards help reassure the public, particularly law-makers, that the field can regulate itself and does not need others outside of the profession to make laws to govern the practice of that profession in order to protect the public's interests. Ethical standards offer the public reassurance in general that a profession is standardized and that they can expect to be treated ethically according to set criteria. This improves people's perception of and trust in the profession and consequently increases business. To put it simply, ethical standards increase the professionalism of the profession.

Write essay
kap26 [50]
For this assignment, it is basically comparing the positive and negative effect of using technology to study individually. Just pick a side and stick to that topic. Here is two example thesis statement for both sides. Pro: many students have difficulty learning at the same pace as their peers, technology gives them the opportunity to be able to study at their own pace from their home and it also motivates students to broaden their knowledge on worldly matters in which they do not receive in a typical school setting. Cons: When studying for a test or simply doing homework, technology is not the best choice. Students need the physical interaction between them and the teachers or other peers as it will help them to be able to produce critical thinking on any matter, communicate, collaborate with others, and be creative;the 4 C's that are not always produced successfully when using technology as a source of studying. These are just examples. You can use any type of examples but, you don't want to make it too broad. Also, when making key points for your thesis or when making a thesis, always be direct. Never use 'I think', 'I believe', etc. as it makes it seem as if you are not sure of your points. If you need anymore help, feel free to ask. I did a similar essay to this when I was in high school except, it asked what are the pros and cons of using technology as a source of learning.
