Part A: It is a non-linear function because it doesn't continue at a constant rate. The last y value increased by 2 instead of 4 like the previous coordinates. There's no consistency if that makes sense.

Part B: linear- (1,2) (2,4), (3,6) Notice how the x increases by the same amount (1) and the y increases by the same amount (2)
non-linear- (2,4) (5,10) (7,11) The x and y values are increasing by completely different amounts in this one.

Zoe has 5 pounds of potatoes. She has multiple recipes that require 3/4 pounds of potatoes. How many recipes will she be able to
7nadin3 [17]

To find the answer convert 5 into 5/1. To make it compatible with 3/4 you have to have the same denominator. So to make 5/1 compatible with x/4 you multiply both sides by 4, so it would be 20/4. And then to find how many recipes you can make you would multiply 3 to the highest number it can be that does not exceed 20. The closest 3 can get to 20 before exceeding it would be 6 times. 6/1x3/4 =18/4. So you could make 6 recipes and you would have 2 pounds of potatoes left.

Zoe can make 6 recipies and she will have 2 pounds of potatoes left.
