Answer:

Change of rate of x coordinate=1 cm/s

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that

y=8+x^3

Now differentiate with respect to time in both side

So \dfrac{dy}{dt}=0+3 x^2\dfrac{dx}{dt}

Given  that y-coordinate is increasing at a rate of 3 cm/s

So \dfrac{dy}{dt}=3

Also given that coordinates (1,3)

So x=1

Now by putting the values

3=0+3\times 1^2\dfrac{dx}{dt}

So  \dfrac{dx}{dt}=1

Change of rate of x coordinate=1 cm/s

Jeff needs to buy food and medication for six cats and one dog. The cost of food and medication for a cat is $5 less than two-th
Elodia [21]
Let x be the amount that Jeff spent for the food and medication of his dog. With this representation, the cost of food and medication for each cat is 2x/3 - 5. The equation that best represent the given situation is

                            x + 6(2x/3 - 5) = 195

The value of x from the equation is 45. Jeff spent $45

dentify the type of data (qualitative/quantitative) and the level of measurement for the native language of survey respondents.
ohaa [14]

Answer:

The correct option is D i.e. Quantitative because numerical values found by either measuring or counting are used to describe the data.

Step-by-step explanation:

As the number of respondents is a numerical value and is identified by counting thus it is a quantitative variable. Also all the other options are incorrect.

A is incorrect because the reason described is not the property of  quantitative data.

B is incorrect because the data is not described in descriptive terms.

C is incorrect because the reason described in not a property of qualitative data.

The sum of three consecutive even numbers is 66. What is the smallest of these numbers?
ahrayia [7]
Your answer would be 22 because it says <em>"sum"</em> which means <u>add.</u> Then it says "<em>of three consecutive <u>even</u> numbers</em>" which means you're going to be adding <u>three</u> of the <em>same <u>even</u> number </em>to get 66. 22 is an <u>even</u> number, so let's try it out: 22 + 22 + 22 = 66. (You can also divide 66 by 3.) 22 is the cOrrect answer.

Hope this helps,

Answer:

<h2>\frac{63}{2}</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

14 =  \frac{14}{1}

\frac{9}{4}  \times  \frac{14}{1}  =  \frac{126}{4}  =  \frac{63}{2}
