Reverse faults are exactly the opposite of normal faults. If the hanging wall rises relative to the footwall you have a reverse fault. Reverse faults occur in areas undergoing compression. If you imagine undoing the motion of a reverse fault, you will undo the compression and thus lengthen the horizontal distance between two points on either side of the fault.
if you stood on the fault plane the block on the right would be under your feet. this is thus the footwall. The tan sandstone has been pushed up and over itself. This offset of the hanging wall indicates that this is a reverse fault.

Calculate the molarity of 0.75 L of a solution containing 0.83 g of dissolved KCI. A 0.015 M B 0.75 M C 1.1 M D 6.2
marissa [1.9K]

Answer:

A 0.015M

Explanation:

Molarity, which refers to the molar concentration of a solution, can be calculated using the formula:

Molarity (M) = mole (n) / volume (L)

Based on the information provided in this question, the solution contains 0.83 g of dissolved KCI.

We can calculate the number of moles of KCl in the solution by using the formula:

Mole = mass ÷ molar mass

Where atomic mass of; K = 39, Cl = 35.5

Molar Mass of KCl = 39 + 35.5

= 74.5g/mol.

Mole = 0.83g/74.5g/mol.

mole = 0.01114

Approximately, n = 0.011mol

Hence, molarity = 0.011mol/0.75L

Molarity = 0.0146

Molarity = 0.015M

How to calculate your average grade in one class?
Vladimir [108]

Answer: Divide each weight expressed

Explanation: If your first test is 20 percent of your grade, divide 20 by 100 to get 0.2. If your second test is worth 30 percent and your final test is worth 50 percent, divide 30 and 50 by 100 to get 0.3 and 0.5.
