The  function sum() adds values from multiple cells and returns a specific numeric value.

<u>Explanation:</u>

The sum() function is used to add many values that are specified within the function. the values that are in need to be summed up must be given as an argument to this function. This function returns the specific value which is the summed up result. The specification  =SUM(A2:A10)  is used to sum up the values of the cells A2 to A10.

The argument of this function may be an array, range of cells, values etc. This function will ignore the cells that are empty and cells that has text values. If an error occurs in the argument then the result returned will also have error. The function Aggregate is used to ignore these errors.

Question 4 Multiple Choice Worth 5 points)
Morgarella [4.7K]

The correct answer is Boolean logic.

Booleans are true or false statements.

An example of a while loop is:

while 1 < 5:

   #do something.

The Boolean statement is 1 < 5 which evaluates to true because 1 is less than 5.

I hope this helps!

Professor Gig A. Byte needs to store text made up of the characters A with frequency 6, B with frequency 2, C with frequency 3,
Luden [163]

Answer:

This is not true

Explanation:

The optimal Huffman code is used to encrypt and compress text files. It uses fixed-length code or variable-length code for encryption and compression of data.

The professor's character code is similar to Huffman's variable-length coding which uses variable length od binary digits to represent the word strings. The file size of the text file above is;

= 6 x 1 + 2 x 2 + 3 x 2 + 2 x 2 + 8 x 1 = 28 bits

This would be the same for both cases.

The encrypt would be the problem as the encoded and decoding of the characters B and E may cause an error.
