Oxytocin is a neurotransmitter and a hormone that is formed in the hypothalamus. From that point, it is transported to and emitted by the pituitary gland, at the base of the brain. It assumes a job in the female conceptive capacities, from sexual action to labor and breast feeding.

The Church also received money in the form of payment for various sacraments such as baptism, marriage, and communion. Also, the Church was a powerful force in medieval life, dominating everyday life for the majority of people.  It could also confirmed kings on their throne giving them the divine right to rule.
