Answer:

3-methyloctane and propane are saturated hydrocarbon. Cyclopentene, heptyne and propyne are unsaturated hydrocarbon.

Explanation:

Saturated hydrocarbons may be defined as hydrocarbons containing only single bonds. Unsaturated hydrocarbons contains double and triple bonds in its structure.

The hydrocarbons -3- methyl octane and propane contains only single bonds within carbon and hydrogen. These saturated hydrocarbons are commonly named as alkanes. Cyclopentene, heptyne and propyne are unsaturated hydrocarbons as they contains double and triple bonds. Cyclopenetene contains double bond and commonly named as alkenes. Heptyne and propyne has three vbonds in its structure and are referred as alkynes.

Solution:

Saturated means that the hydrocarbon has only single bonds and that the hydrocarbon contains the maximum number of hydrogen atoms for each carbon atom. Unsaturated hydrocarbons contain multiple bonding and contain less than the maximum number of hydrogen per carbon.

Saturated hydrocarbon is 3-methyloctane, and propane.

Unsaturated hydrocarbon is Propyne, heptyne, cyclopentene.

If polar is positive and non-polar is negative then why can’t a polar molecule pass through the non-polar phospholipid membrane
Ierofanga [76]

Answer:

Because of the chemical and structural nature of the phospholipid lipid by layer the lipid soluble molecule can just pass the lipid membrane and some small molecules can also pass freely.

Explanation:

as we know that the homeostasis is an important process for a  living cell to maintain it self so for the the exchange of materials between the external and internal environment is must so for that it exchange material with the outside environment of the cell.as the cell membrane is semipermeable(mean allow some molecule to pass(lipid soluble) and not others(lipid non soluble) to pass through the membrane.the cell membrane is selectively permeable due to its nature and chemical composition the chemical composition is lipid and  phosphate and glycerol(head) with fatty acid that may b saturated or unsaturated(tail).so finally all those molecule which are polar can not pass through the membrane and  non polar can pass the membrane. The size of the molecule is also a factor on which the permeability depends.

Two different mature mRNA transcripts are produced from this gene, one is approximately 2000 nucleotides long, the other is appr
klemol [59]

Answer:

Alternative splicing explains how it works

Explanation:

Two different transcripts can be produced from one single gene according to the nature of exons and introns of every transcript, which means that a group of exons will form the future mRNA molecule. The nature of this phenomenon is based on the function and local that every transcript will act. These mRNA transcripts are the result of how the RNA polymerase and transcription factors interacts with DNA molecule and therefore selects the number and the size of the exons and introns of each mature mRNA transcript.
