Let , side lawn is a.

Area of boundary is :

A=4\times5\times a\\\\A=20a\ m^2

Now, total cost is given by :

T=20a\times 36.25\\\\90625=725a\\\\a=125\ m

Area left is :

A'=a^2-20a\\\\A'=125^2-20\times 125\ m^2\\\\A'=13125\ m^2

Price to empty space with turfs is :

P=A'\times 20\\\\P=13125\times 20\\\\P=262500

Therefore, the cost of covering the empty space with turfs at the rate of Rs 20 per sq. metre is Rs 262500.

Hence, this is the required solution.

Solve Each Equation PLS SHOW WORK <br><br> |5k-8| / 10 = 2 <br><br> |5k-8| / 10 is a fraction btw
Shtirlitz [24]

Answer:

The maximum value of k = 5 ³/₅ and the minimum value of k = -2 ²/₅

Step-by-step explanation:

Given;

\frac{|5k-8|}{10} = 2\\\\|5k-8| = 20

Simplifying further;

5k - 8 = 20 ------- (1)

5k - 8 = -20------(2)

Solving equation (1)

5k - 8 = 20

5k = 28

k = 28 /5 = 5 ³/₅

Solving equation (2)

5k - 8 = -20

5k = -20 + 8

5k = -12

k = -12 / 5  = -2 ²/₅

Thus, the maximum value of k = 5 ³/₅ and the minimum value of k = -2 ²/₅

PLEASE HELP!!!!
iren2701 [21]
Try using 1070 degrees as the sum of the interior angles of a convex polygon, we get:

1070 =[n - 2] x 180 (n = number of sides)
1070 =180n - 360
180n =1070+360
180n =1430
n = 1430 / 180
n = 7.94 number of sides.

Round the number up to 8 since 7.94 isn’t whole.

So, the convex polygon is an octagon with sum of its interior angles:

[8 - 2] x 180 =1080 degrees.

How can you use transformations to graph this function?
tatuchka [14]
The parent function for this function is

f(x)=  7^{x}

We have to explain how the given function can be obtained from the parent function.

Let y=g(x)

So,

g(x)=3*7^{-x} +2

Notice that x in the exponent is multiplied by -1. Multiplying x by -1 implies the reflection of the graph across y-axis.

The function value is multiplied by 3. This suggest a vertical expansion by a factor of 3.

2 is being added to the function value, this implies a vertical shift upwards by 2 units.

So, we can write:

y = g(x) = 3f(-x) + 2

Thus following translations are applied:

a) Reflection across y-axis
b) Vertical stretch by a factor of 3
c) Upward shift by 2 units

NemiM [27]

Answer:

19 feet

Explanation:

We are given that

Angle of depression from the top to the pool,=20.81 degree

Length of slide=53 ft

We have to find the distance of top from the ground.

In triangle ABC

AC=53 feet

Using the formula

Hence, the distance of the top of the slide from the ground=19 feet
