If he was full the occupancy would be 555/555 = 100%
But only 333 rooms are booked, so the occupancy is 333/555 = 0.6 or 60%

Answer:

60%.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the present occupancy rate of 555-bed facility, that only has 333 inmates booked, we will find 333 is what percent of 555.

To find 333 is what percent of 555 we will divide 333 by 555 and multiply by 100.

\text{Present occupancy }=\frac{333}{555}\times 100

\text{Present occupancy}=0.6\times 100

\text{Present occupancy}=60

Therefore, the present occupancy rate is 60%.

Fifteen students are going hiking on their spring break. They plan to travel in three vehicles—one seating 7, one seating 5, and
andriy [413]

Answer:

The students can group themselves in 360360 ways

Step-by-step explanation:

For this exercise we need to use the following equation:

\frac{n!}{n1!*n2!*...*nk!}

This equation give us the number of assignation of n elements in k cell, where n1, n2, ..nk are the element that are in every cell

In this case we have 15 student that need to be assign in three vehicles with an specific capacity. This vehicles would be the equivalent to cells, so we can write the equation as:

  \frac{15!}{7!*5!*3!}

Because the first vehicle have 7 seating, the second vehicle have 5 seating and the third vehicle have 3 seating.

Solving the equation we get 360360 ways to organized 15 students in three vehicles with capacity of 7, 5  and 3 seating.

The solution for s in the given equation is s = C-nD

The question seems to be incomplete

Here is the complete question:

Solve for s in this equation D= \frac{C-s}{n}   Depreciation.

To solve for s, that means we should make s the subject of the equation

From the given equation,

D= \frac{C-s}{n}

To solve for s, first multiply both sides by n to clear the fraction

We get

n\times D= n \times \frac{C-s}{n}

Then,

nD = C - s

Now, add s to both sides

nD + s= C - s+s

nD+s = C

Then, subtract nD from both sides

nD-nD+s = C-nD

∴ s = C-nD

Hence, the solution for s in the given equation is s = C-nD

I can't figure out how to do this problem. Could somebody help me?
Verizon [17]

start by plugging in the value you already have, in this case, 5 for y.

-4x-3(5)=17

-4x-15=17

-4x=32

x=-8

however, since a is a+1, a would be 7 (making x 8)

also plz tell me if i read this wrong and it’s actually 1,5 rather than a+1 and 5 cause if i did i’m so sorry lol.
