A = pi x r^2

it gives you the diameter.
half of the diameter is the radius
therefore, A = pi x 14^2

Jacob is selling candy bars for his basketball team he already sold 23 but he wants to sell 200 he is able to sell 15 per day ho
Nataly_w [17]

Answer:

11.8 days

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Sales per day: 15 candy bars

Goal: 200 candy bars

Already sold: 23 candy bars

With this information, we can set up an equation to find out how many days it will take him to reach his goal.

Let d = days; solve for d.

15d + 23 = 200

15d=177

d=11.8

In conclusion, it will take Jacob 11.8 days to reach his goal of 200 candy bars.

Are the following figures similar?
Tanya [424]

Answer:

No; the corresponding angles are not congruent

Step-by-step explanation:

Two figures are similar when they have proportional corresponding sides and congruent corresponding angles.

Trapezoid ABCD has two right angles B and C, obtuse angle A of measure 137° and acute angle D of measure 43°.

Trapezoid EHGF has two right angles G and F, obtuse angle E of measure 136° and acute angle H of measure 44°.

Since obtuse angles and acute angles are not congruent, trapezoids ABCD and EHGF are not similar

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
baherus [9]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The sum of the angles in a triangle is 180 degrees. This means that

Angle A + Angle B + Angle C = 180 degrees

Looking at the triangle,

Angle A = (15x + 10) degrees

Angle B = (15x - 10) degrees

Angle C = (3x + 15) degrees

Therefore,

15x + 10 + 15x - 10 + 3x + 15 = 180

15x + 15x + 3x + 10 - 10 + 15 = 180

33x + 15 = 180

Subtracting 15 from the left hand side and the right hand side of the equation, it becomes

33x + 15 - 15 = 180 - 15

33x = 165

Dividing the left hand side and the right hand side of the equation by 33, it becomes

33x/33 = 165/33

x = 5

Angle A = 15 × 5 + 10 = 85 degrees
