Describe the conservation of mass in a food web

The conversation of mass means that no mass is destroyed nor created. In a food web, every mass (all the living things) die somehow and they all have a balanced diet. Also, they all fit into the web. If an animal is left out, or extincts, they law of conversation of mass is not being applied.
