When you touch ice the the energy transfer is from your finger to the ice. Your finger has energy in the form of heat. Heat energy goes from warmer object to colder object. That is also the reason why the ice melts.

The answer is then A.

ASAP PLZZ FINALS TOMR GIVE U ALOT OF POINTSS
Annette [7]

Answer:

B

Explanation:

Let m be mass of the object and v be speed of object b.

Kinetic Energy of B = 1/2 mv^2

Kinetic Energy of A = 1/2 m(2v)^2

= 2 mv^2

= 4 (1/2 mv^2)

= 4 × Kinetic Energy of B

Hence Object A has four times the kinetic energy of object B (<em>A</em><em>n</em><em>s</em><em> </em><em>B</em><em>)</em>

Fiora starts riding her bike at 18 mi/h. After a while, she slows down to 12 mi/h, and maintains that speed for the rest of the
lord [1]

Answer:

t = 2.5 hours

Explanation:

given,

speed of the bike for t time= 18 mi/h

final speed of the bike after t time = 12 mi/h

total distance, D = 69 miles

total time, T= 4.5 hour

time for which speed of the bike is 18 mi/h = ?

we know distance = speed x time

now,

18 x t + 12 (4.5 - t) = 69

6 t + 54 = 69

6 t = 15

t = 2.5 hours

The bike was at the speed of 18 mi/h for 2.5 hours.

Answer:

Psychology is theoretically diverse.

Explanation:

The theme, 'Psychology is theoretically diverse' means that the psychology has many various views and points. This is because when people make many observations they can go several and many different ways with these observations. This is why Psychology has many perspectives. The differing perspectives provide complete understanding of the human behavior more effectively.

Hence, different perspectives of the three professionals mentioned illustrate this theme.

What is the speed of light
Inessa05 [86]

In vacuum and empty space, it's 299,792,458 meters per second
(186,282.4 miles per second).

In any material stuff, it's somewhat less.  How much less depends on
what stuff it is ... it's different in each material "medium".

A student lists a set of materials
alexdok [17]

Answer:

D. wood, hydrogen gas, milk, and water

Explanation:

Waves will transmit through wood, hydrogen gas, milk and water.

Waves are disturbances that propagates energy usually through a material medium.

Most mechanical waves pass through the given medium. Only electromagnetic waves do not really require a material medium for their propagation. They can be propagated through a vacuum.
