Alright, lets get started.

As per the scale, \frac{1}{4} '' = 1 '

Means 0.25 '' = 1 ' (symbol '' denotes inches and ' denotes feet)

As per the drawing, the dimention of bedroom is 3\frac{1}{2} '' and 5\frac{1}{4} ''.

Means

3\frac{1}{2} '' = 3 + \frac{1}{2} = 3 + 0.5 = 3.5''

converting into feet, we need to divide with 0.25.

Means the first dimension would be : \frac{3.5}{0.25} = 14 '

Converting 5\frac{1}{4} into decimal : 5 + 0.25 = 5.25

Similarly, the second dimension in feet would be : \frac{5.25}{0.25} = 21 '

Hence the dimension of bedroom will be 14 ft by 21 ft : Option A : Answer

Hope it will help :)
