Why doesnt the atlantic ocean and pacific ocean mix.
Leno4ka [110]
The Atlantic and Pacific ‘meet’ at the southernmost tip of South America, known as Cape Horn. In this region, a strong current carries water from west to east, sweeping water from the Pacific into the Atlantic. Travelling around Cape Horn is a turbulent, dangerous journey to make by ship and has claimed many lives. Prior to the building of the Panama Canal, it was the sole route by sea between the Pacific and Atlantic.

What are examples of local diversity??
valentinak56 [21]
I understand this question to mean "local diversity of human culture" (and not, for example,  local biological diversity).

Local diversity can mean for example different food - different areas have their own food specialties).

It can also mean the customs and religions - for example how people eat (fork, chopstics, hands, etc).

Another example is the clothing, for example in India many women wear Saris, while in Europe women wear skirts or trousers.

Carat reefs 2 biotic factors
Mariulka [41]

Answer:

Plants and bacteria are two other major biotic components of the Great Barrier Reef. Bacteria act as decomposers for this ecosystem, and they break down dead organic matter and convert it into energy that can be used by other living things in the ecosystem.
