You have to turn the percent into a decimal to do the math.

80 * .40 = 32 (That's the discount.) Now we subtract the orginal price from this.

80 - 32 = 48

Now we need to find the tax value.

48 (our new price) * .0675 = $3.24

Add this back onto the price to get our final price.

3.24 + 48 = $51.24

. 1. A consistent system of equations is a system with __________.. . the same line. . parallel lines. . intersecting lines and
madreJ [45]

A consistent system of equations is a system with intersecting lines and lines that have the same equation.

A consistent system is the system of equations with at least one solution or infinite number of solutions.

So , the intersecting lines will always have a solution and the lines with the same equation will have infinite number of solution.

The graph of a system of equations with different slopes will have no solutions. Correct option in "Never"

If the system of equations have different slopes then the equations are not parallel, hence the equations will always have a solution.

I need help with truth tables
Lerok [7]

The complete table of truth value for the composite proposition:

       p q ¬ q p ∨ ¬ q (p ∨ ¬ q) ⇒ q

       T T F T T

       T F T T F

       F T F T T

       F F T T F

How to fill a truth table with composite propositions

In mathematics, propositions are structures that contains a truth value. There are two truth values in classic logics: True, False. Composite propositions are the result combining simpler propositions and operators. There are the following logic operators and rules:

  1. Negation changes the truth value of the proposition into its opposite.
  2. Disjunction brings out "true" value when at least one of the two propositions is so.
  3. Conjunction brings out "true" value when the two propositions are so.
  4. Conditional form brings out "true" value when both propositions are true or only the consequent is true or both propositions are false.

Now we present the complete table of truth value for the composite proposition:

       p q ¬ q p ∨ ¬ q (p ∨ ¬ q) ⇒ q

       T T F T T

       T F T T F

       F T F T T

       F F T T F

zubka84 [21]

Answer:

y = 7/3 x + 2

Step-by-step explanation:

y = mx+b is the slope intercept form of a line

where m is the slope and b is the y intercept

Substituting in what we know

y = 7/3 x + 2

Marco is building a dog house. He pays $65 for a dog house kit and $12 for each can of paint, p, he uses to paint the dog house.
mars1129 [50]
I believe the correct answer from the choices listed above is the last option. The function that represents the total cost to build the dog house would be c(p)=12p+65. Hope this answers the question. Have a nice day.
