\sf{3 \sqrt{ x^{2}}  = 3[x^2]^\left({\frac{1}{2}\right)}= 3 x^ \left({2 \times \frac{1}{2}}\right)}= 3x

3x is your final answer :)

The equation could be
(3√x)^2 or
3√(x^2)
if it is
(3√x)^2 then  that equals
(3√x)(3√x)=(3)(3)(√x)(√x)=(9)(x)=9x

if it is3√(x^2) then
3 times √(x^2)=3 times x since the exponent cancels out

if
(3√x)^2 then answer is 9x
 3√(x^2)  then answer is 3x

uysha [10]
Let s be the original price of the shoes.
Now s - (s*.30) can be used the find the original price since s times .30 will give you 30% of the original price and if you subtract that from the original price it will give you what 30% off is.

A hyperbola has vertices (+-5,0) and one focus (6,0) what is the standard form equation of the hyperbola.
Anika [276]
The standard form equation of the hyperbola:
x² / a² - y² / b² = 1
a = 5,
a² = 25
c = 6
c² = a² + b²
36 = 25 + b²
b² = 36 - 25
b² = 11
Answer:
x²/25  -  y²/11 = 1

Alex_Xolod [135]

Answer:

-2x+Y=12

Step-by-step explanation:

4x-2y=8

-4x -4x

-2y=-4x+8

-2 -2

Y= -4x/-2 + 8/-2

Y= 2x-4

M= 2

Y=mx+b

8=2 (-2) +b

8= -4+b

12=b

Y=2x+12

-2x -2x

-2x+Y=12
