It was a movement in art during the 18th and 19th centuries. Defined by Friedrich Schlegel as "literature depicting emotional matter in an imaginative form." Imagination, emotion and freedom were the focal points. Believed that imagination was superior to reason.

We note down our ideas, knowledge… Music is also a language, a specific language… Musical notation allows to note down musical ideas. It’s a great opportunity for creativity. True musicians think by music. Music is inside them all the time. It is a compulsory part of their lives, therefore, music notation is crucial for them.

<span>Music brings enormous benefits into our lives. First of all, it’s a type of entertainment. It allows to relax, lifts our spirits and helps to perceive problems much more easily. Then, musical masterpieces include traditions, styles, beliefs of different times, so that it plays a huge educational role. Any intelligent person should have such knowledge.  Finally, a range of studies proved that music has a healing function. Many people with mental diseases influenced by peaceful music get on the path of recovery. </span>
