How does convention occur in the troposphere

Answer:

The troposphere is the region that covers a vertical height of about 10-15 km from the surface of the earth. In this region as the height increases, temperature decreases. This means that within the troposphere, the temperature and height are inversely proportional to each other.

The different parts of the earth receive different amounts of sunlight. The land area gets heated up more readily in comparison to the oceans because it directly absorbs the heat energy. Whereas the surface of the ocean acts as a reflector, reflecting heat. So it warms and cools at a much slower rate. Due to this unequal heating of the earth's surface, the wind is generated.

The air molecules are densely packed near the earth's surface and loosely packed in the upper part of the troposphere. So due to the high heat, the air near the surface gets heated up, becomes less dense and rises up. As it reaches the upper part of the troposphere, it eventually cools and sinks. This continuous motion of air molecules forms a convection current within the troposphere region.

Convection causes heating in troposphere because it drops in temperature with altitude, but has a relatively high density of air. The stratosphere has no weather because convection cannot happen because the air gets hotter in this layer as you go up in altitude.

Plasma contains more sodium than chloride. How can this be if individual ions of sodium and chloride exactly balance each other
Sholpan [36]

In addition to chloride, there are other negatively charged molecules in plasma. The extra sodium restores the balance of the overall negative charges.

What is plasma?

It is an aqueous solution that is thick in consistency, straw-colored, and somewhat alkaline. Fifty five percent of the blood is formed by it.

It is made up of a variety of organic and inorganic components, including 90–92% water and 6–8% solutes.

It includes fibrinogen, globulins, albumins, a trace quantity of sodium, calcium, magnesium, chloride, bicarbonate, glucose, amino acids, lipids, and other coagulation-related substances.

Plasma's primary function is to transport proteins, hormones, and nutrients to the body's many organs. Additionally, plasma is where cells dump their waste. The plasma then aids in the body's elimination of this waste. All components of the blood are also transported through your circulatory system by blood plasma.

Using forceps and scissors cut a small piece of liver and add it to the test tube. Push it into the hydrogen peroxide with a sti
beks73 [17]

Answer:

oxygen

Explanation:

Catalase is an enzyme found in living tissuea of plants and animals. Its role in living tissues is to break down hydrogen peroxide produced during cellular metabolism. Hydrogen peroxide is ahighly toxic substance which should not be allowed to accumulate in the tissues. If it were to accumulate in the tissues, it would interfere with cellular metabolism. Enzyme catalase breaks down hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen which are non-toxic substances. Liver contains enzyme catalase.

What are transgenic organisms? Give one advantage of a transgenic crop.
pentagon [3]

Answer:

Transgenic organism:

Transgenic organism may be defined as the organisms whose genetic makeup has been modified by the molecular techniques. These transgenic organism are mainly produced in the laboratory for research work. The genes of one species can be modified or some other gene has been inserted in the organism.

Advantage of transgenic crop.

The transgenic crop has been produced by the genetic alteration of the crop. The main advantage of the transgenic crop is to develop the enhanced quality and quantity of crop. Vitamin rich golden rice has been produced by the transgenic crop.
