X=30

10-25x=5

-10 on both sides

Then you get this :

10-25x=5

subtract 10 from both sides so 5-10 is -5

so now your left with -25x=-5 then divdie -25x by -5 and rememeber -5 divided by a negative is a positive and positive divided by a posivte is a positive and negavite divided by a positive is negavtive or positive divided by a negative is a negative

so when you divide -25x by -5 you get 5 so your answer is x=-5

Answer:

$100.4

Step-by-step explanation:

Compound Interest Formula:

A = P(1 + \frac{r}{100})^{t}

=> A = 100 x ( 1 + \frac{0.4}{100})^1 = 100.4 (If they asked ... interest rate ... per year, if not then depends - most likely to be days and therefore you will need to change 1 year = 365 days and you will also need to change 1 in the formula above to 365, then you will get the right ans)

The sum of 9 and -16 increased by 4
koban [17]
Hey!

So, since the question says the sum of 9 and -16, we'll start by solving that first.

New Equation :
9 + ( -16 ) = ?

Solution {New Equation Solved} :
9 + ( -16 ) = -7

Next, the question says to increase it by 4. So that means we'll add it.

New Equation :
-7 + 4 = ?

Solution {New Equation Solved} :
-7 + 4 = -3

So, this means that the solution to the problem that is the sum of -9 and -16 increased by 4 is -3.

Hope this helps!

A rectangular garden has a walkway around it. The area of the garden is 4(2.5x+3.5) The combined area of the garden and the walk
kaheart [24]

Answer: Area of the walkway: 4.5(4x+6) - 4(2.5x+3.5)

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi, to answer this question we have to analyze the information given:

Area of the garden: 4(2.5x+3.5)

Combined area of the garden and the walkway: 4.5(4x+6)

Area of the walkway = A

So, the combined area of the garden and the walkway is equal to sum of both areas:

4(2.5x+3.5)+ A = 4.5(4x+6)

Solving for A:

A = 4.5(4x+6) - 4(2.5x+3.5)

Area of the walkway: 4.5(4x+6) - 4(2.5x+3.5)
