Answer: 1) Mathematical object - Circle

2) Radius of path 1 is 1.5 km.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

He wants Path 1 to be a continuous distance of 1.5 km from the center of the habitat.

1) Path 1 represents circle as the distance with radius is possible with mathematical object -"Circle " only.

As we know that radius is the distance from the center of the circle to any surface of the circle .

As he is covered 1.5 km from the center of the habitat.

2) the radius of the path 1 is 1.5 km.

If we consider the center of the habitat to be a point - then a circle with a radius of 1.5 km would satisfy the problem.

The path would go around the point (habitiat) and would always be 1.5 km from that point.

Which logarithmic equation has the same solution as x-4=2^3
romanna [79]

Answer:

log₁₀ (10¹²)

Step-by-step explanation:

First you should find the solution to the given equation

x-4=2³

x-4=8

x=8+4=12

Now observe the behavior of logarithmic equations with the base 10

log₁₀ 100=2

log₁₀ 10000=4

log₁₀ 1000000=6

To get the answer to

log₁₀ y=12

Then y=10¹².........................how?

check for the first case

log₁₀ 100=2 this can be written as

10²=100

This means to get y in log₁₀y=12 you should rise the base to power 12

y=10¹²

This is to say that

log₁₀ (10¹²) = 12

Which points are a distance of 5 units from (2, 3) if d = square root (x2 - x1)2 + (y2 - y1)?
qwelly [4]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

hello :

note :

note : distance between A(X1,Y1) an B (X2,Y2) is :

AB= √((X2 - X1)² + (Y2 - Y1)²)    (given point  B(2 , 3)

in this exercice : X1 = 2     X2 = ?      Y1 = 3      Y2 = ?   d=AB=5

d² = (X2 - 2)² + (Y2 - 3)² =25

the points are a distance of 5 units from B (2, 3) if d = 5 :

the points are located on a circle with center B and radius 5

Jerry's CD player can hold five compact disks on a rotating tray around point A. The CD tray can move only counterclockwise. Ans
hjlf

Answer:

(a) 72 degrees

(b) 216 degrees

Let em know if you don't get how I answered either.

Step-by-step explanation:

So, to go all the way around is 360 degrees since there are 360 degrees. that means it turns 5 times for the beginning cd to be at the start again. So in 5 equal turns it goes 360 degrees. We want to know how much 360 is divided into 5 groups, or 360/5 = 72.

You can think of it this way, if it turns 72 degrees five times, it will have gone a full 360. that answers a though, each switch to another CD is 72 degrees.

b is asking how many degrees is it to go from 1 to 4. so how many movements is that? 1 to 2, 2 to 3 then 3 to 4. So 4. could have done 4-1 of course. anyway. 3 movements each 72 degrees is 72*3 = 216.
