Using the information above regarding the proportion of agenda-less meetings, choose the correct conclusion for this hypothesis

test.
H0:p=0.45 ; Ha:p>0.45
The p-value for this hypothesis test is 0.025.
The level of significance is α=0.05
Select the correct answer below:

There is sufficient evidence to conclude that the proportion of agenda-less meetings is greater than 45%.

There is NOT sufficient evidence to conclude that the proportion of agenda-less meetings isgreater than 45%.

Answer: There is sufficient evidence to conclude that the proportion of agenda-less meetings is greater than 45%.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: H_0:p=0.45 \\ H_a:p>0.45

The p-value for this hypothesis test is 0.025.

The level of significance is α=0.05

As p-value< α  ∵0.025< 0.05

[if p-value< α , we reject H_0]

then, we reject the null hypothesis.

i.e. We have sufficient evidence to support the alternative hypothesis.

Hence, the correct statement is : There is sufficient evidence to conclude that the proportion of agenda-less meetings is greater than 45%.

What is the difference between solving an equation and an inequality?
statuscvo [17]
When you solve an equation, it has an equal sign (=) and inequalities do not. When you solve an inequality the answer isn't exact (depending on the sign ie: <, >, etc...) equations usually are exact answers. other than that, I don't think there is a big difference in solving them.

Wich is a factor of x^2+ 5x-24?
Nimfa-mama [501]

Answer:

(x−3)(x+8)

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's factor x2+5x−24

x2+5x−24

The middle number is 5 and the last number is -24.

Factoring means we want something like

(x+_)(x+_)

Which numbers go in the blanks?

We need two numbers that...

Add together to get 5

Multiply together to get -24

Can you think of the two numbers?

Try -3 and 8:

-3+8 = 5

-3*8 = -24

Fill in the blanks in

(x+_)(x+_)

with -3 and 8 to get...

(x-3)(x+8)

Answer:

(x−3)(x+8)
