Mid ocean ridges occur where two tectonic plates diverge or move away from each other. This separation occurs under the ocean. The Mid-Atlantic Ridge is such an example and is where the North and South American plates pull away from the Eurasian and African plates. Mid ocean ridges are usually a combination of divergent and transform plate boundaries. At transform boundaries plates slide past each other in opposite directions.

PLEASE HELP MEEEE. A rigid layer that lies outside the cell's membrane is... *
slamgirl [31]

Answer:

The correct answer is B. Cell Wall

Explanation:

A cell wall is a rigid layer that is found outside the cell membrane and surrounds the cell. The cell wall contains not only cellulose and protein, but other polysaccharides as well. The cell wall provides structural support and protection. Pores in the cell wall allow water and nutrients to move into and out of the cell.

Why is it a problem when plants and animals become endangered or extinct?
timama [110]

Answer:

Species become endangered for two main reasons: loss of habitat and loss of genetic variation. A loss of habitat can happen naturally. ... Human activity can also contribute to a loss of habitat. Development for housing, industry, and agriculture reduces the habitat of native organisms
