30 points! Inflection points question. Okay, so I know that an inflection point is where the function is continuous and the conc

avity changes. On the graph I attached, it is asking to: "Use the graph of f "(x) below to state x-coordinates of the inflection points for the graph of f(x)."
Am I supposed to find the concavity changes of f(x) or of f"(x)? Also, do I give the x coordinate or the y coordinate when writing my answer.

Find the concavity changes of f(x).
Give the x-coordinates.

So, the answer to the multiple choice question is -1 and 5 since those points are where f''(x) changes sign.

Note: You can tell that you're supposed to find the concavity changes of f(x) and not f''(x) because from the graph it's obvious that the concavity of f"(x) doesn't change.

Answer:

ī=80; s = 10

Step-by-step explanation:

When the standard deviation is from a finite group it is denoted by s. The number of transactions from an atm are countable in a day. So the standard deviation will be represented by s.

and ī represents the mean.

The other choices are incorrect because mean is usually represented by a bar over the alphabet such as x.

a simple alphabet does not denote the mean of the sample or population.

The sum of two numbers is 172. Their difference is 10. What are the numbers?
kykrilka [37]

Answer:

The numbers are 91 and 81

Step-by-step explanation:

Let:

x be the first number.

y be the second number.

The sum of two numbers is 172.

x + y = 172

Their difference is 10.

x - y = 10

Try to arrange for solving x:

x - y = 10

x = 10 + y

Now substitute the x to the first equation.

x + y = 172

(10 + y) + y = 172

10 + y + y = 172

10 + 2y = 172

2y = 172 - 10

2y = 162

y = 162 ÷ 2

y = 81

Now solve for x:

x + y = 172

x + (81) = 172

x = 172 - 81

x = 91

Now let's check one more time:

The sum of two numbers is 172:

91 + 81 = 172

172 = 172 (correct)

Their difference is 10:

91 - 81 = 10

10 = 10 (correct)

Amelia has 13 less than 5 times the cans elliot has. together, they have 257 cans. How many cans does each one have?
8090 [49]
To solve this, you must determin variables.

Elliot=x
Amelia=5x-13

Then, you must do the sum of those two variables equals the number of cans. Therefore,

5x-13+x=257
6x-13=257
6x=257-(-13)
6x=270
x=270÷6
x=45
