Type of lines ? Not the best question.
Answer: Perpendicular, first choice
The little 90 degree angle indicator at the intersection marks these lines as meeting at a right angle, which is called perpendicular.
678.24?
36 x 6 =216
216 x 3.14 = 678.24
I hope this helps! :)
Y= 80.55% approximately, 80.6% rounded up
Calculations:
The percent (percentage) of a given number p/q can be found, for the most part, without a calculator by a slight change in the notation:
y=the number 29/36 expressed as a percent becomes
y=[29(2.7777777778 approx.)]/[36(2.7777777778 approx.)]
y=0.8055 approx. (Express the decimal numeral as a percent)
y=0.8055(100)
y=
80.55% approx., which is 80.6% rounded up to the nearest tenth percent
A common strategy when finding the area of a polygon while you're only given the coordinates is to employ the shoelace formula. To start, we have to order the coordinates either clockwise or counterclockwise ( see attatched for a drawing). So, now we can order the coordinates counterclockwise, adding the first entry again at the end (see second attatchment) Now we can use shoelace. When going left to right, we'll multiply the numbers and they will be positive, and we'll make those numbers negative. ( see third attatchment). After we add them up and subtract when necessary, we'll divide the whole thing by 2. Here's the math:
