How might tectonic plate movement affect the formation of an atoll ?
shusha [124]

Answer:

A tectonic plate movement affect the formation of an atoll is described below in brief details.

Explanation:

An atoll is a collection of coral islets that has developed around the rim of an obsolete submerged volcano producing an inner lagoon or round-shaped coral reef. Atoll formation is secondary to land erosion and the extension of coral reefs encompassing the island. Coral reef atolls can only grow in tropical zones that are the perfect place for coral germination.

how did Texas become part of the united states? why was the process so complicated, and how did it impact national politics?
cluponka [151]

After winning independence from Mexico in 1836, the Republic of Texas petitioned the United States for annexation. ... In the end, annexation was one of the leading causes of the Mexican-American War. Perhaps an even more contentious issue had to do with slavery. Many settlers in Texas were slave owners.

The American Revolution was a true political revolution. Reference at least 3 correct historical truths

Hey!!

4 ways:
-Government system
-method for elections / who can run
-terms
-politicians

A) we created a federal, constitutional, representative, democratic republic, leaving the English monarchy and parliament.

B) we use electoral college vs English inheritance

C) our highest level of national office has a term limit (kind of, it’s not in constitution, but Washington set a precedent of only 2 terms.)

D) the officials and politicians answer to their constituents. If they are unhappy, the politician will likely be called back. Rather than your constituents living hundred miles away, like in England, they are right in you hometown, local.

I’m confident about the first 2, I’m not sure if the third would count. You might need to fact check the last one. These are just off the top of my head.

Have a great day! :)
