Answer:

Light is one of the important and essential variables for the process of photosynthesis that leads to plant growth.

The development of plants due to light is known as photomorphogenesis that includes several aspects of light supporting plant growth. some of them are as follows:

 • Photodormancy: it is process in which light helps plants in the germination of seeds.
 • Phototropism: This is the phenomenon in which plant bent towards the light source
 • photosynthesis: in this process light functions in the syntheiss of food for plant.
 • photoperiodism: The flowering time is based on the length of the day and night is called photoperiodism.

So, this is how light plays an important role in plant growth.

The illustration below indicates that photosynthesis and cellular respiration are both complementary and balanced. An excess of
Norma-Jean [14]

Answer:

The rate of photosynthesis was more than the rate of respiration

Explanation:

Photosynthesis has to do with the synthesis of sugar molecules from inorganic products such as water and carbon dioxide. Respiration on the other hand has to do with breaking down of the sugar molecule from photosynthesis to release the energy locked up in the sugar for various metabolic processes in the plant's body.

If both processes are balanced, there will be no net sugar production. Hence, if an excess of sugar produced fossil fuels, it thus means that there was net production of sugar in the past. The rate of photosynthesis was more than the rate of respiration in the past.

What processes are involved in getting a tan and then having it fade away?
vesna_86 [32]

Answer:

To understand the tanning process one first needs to realize that the skin is comprised of several different types of cells. Each type of cell has a specific function. The cells involved primarily in the tanning process are called melanocytes. Melanocytes are located at the base of the epidermis between the epidermis and the dermis below. Melanocytes use the amino acid tyrosine to produce melanin. This melanin leaves the melanocytes and travels up through the epidermis where it reacts with the UVA and UVB radiation through a chemical reaction darkening the pigmentation of the skin. As we already know the skin consists of three layers of tissue: The epidermis or outer layer, the dermis or inner layer and the subcutaneous layer
