Answer:

let x be the number of roses and y the number of daisies

x+y= 9 ( flowers)

3*x will be the cost of the roses

2*y will be the cost of daisies

then 3x+2y= 25 $ ( the cost of the 9 flowers)

therefore the 2 equations

x+y= 9

3*x+ 2*y= 25

solution of the two equations:

we multiply the 1st equation by 2

2x+ 2y= 18

3x+2*y= 25

2nd equation minus 1st equation we will have:

x= 7 therefore y=2

Answer:

3r+2d=25

r+d=9

r=7 d=2

Step-by-step explanation:

use second equation and solve for d then

3r+2(9-r)=25

3r+18-2r=25

r=25-18

r=7

if r+d=9 and r=7 THEN d=2

A scientist builds a Mars rover that can travel 4.9 centimeters per second on flat ground.
tatyana61 [14]

Answer:

75.95cm

Step-by-step explanation:

4.9 multiplied by 15 will represent the 15 seconds

4.9 • 15 = 73.5

4.9 divided by 2 will equal the 1/2 seconds

4.9 ÷ 2 = 2.45

add them all together

73.5 + 2.45 = 75.95 cm

Scores on a certain IQ test are knownto have a mean of 100. A random sample of 43 students attend a series of coaching classes b
NeX [460]

Answer:

Part 1

Type II error

Part 2

No ; is not ; true

Step-by-step explanation:

Data provided in the question

Mean = 100

The Random sample is taken = 43 students

Based on the given information, the conclusion is as follows

Part 1

Since it is mentioned that the classes are successful which is same treated as a null rejection and at the same time it also accepts the alternate hypothesis

Based on this, it is a failure to deny or reject the false null that represents type II error

Part 2

And if the classes are not successful so we can make successful by making type I error and at the same time type II error is not possible

Therefore no type II error is not possible and when the null hypothesis is true the classes are not successful
