The price of spices is given in the table.

32.5 pounds of Garlic costs = $92.60

1 pound of garlic costs = \$92.60 \div 32.5 = $2.8

40 pounds of sage costs = $152.25

1 pound of sage costs = \$152.25 \div 40 = $3.8

22.5 pounds of ginger costs= $74.50

1 pound of ginger costs = \$74.50 \div 22.5 = $3.3

42 pounds of basil costs = $125

1 pound of basil costs= \$125 \div 42 = $3.0

The spices in order from the least to the greatest unit cost in dollars per pound is :

$2.8 , $3.0 , $3.3 , $3.8

Can someone help me please?!?
Damm [24]

Answer:

k=10

Step-by-step explanation:

g(x)=2x^2+ kx+18

when x=-2

g(-2)=2 (-2)^2 -2k +18

Since when x is -2, y =6

6=2 (-2)^2 -2k +18

6=18+8-2k

2k=26-6

2k=20

k=10

A force of 10 lb is required to hold a spring stretched 4 in. beyond its natural length. How much work is done in stretching it
Troyanec [42]

Answer:

W = 15/4 ft . ib

Step-by-step explanation:

Force = 10ib

According to hooked law, f(x) = kx

x = 4inches = 4/12 ft

x= 1/3ft

f(x) = 1/3k

10 = 1/3k

k = 30 ib/ft

f(x) = 30x

Workdone = integral of f(x) with its limit

6 inches = 6/12 ft

= 1/2ft

W = integral(1/2 to 0) of 30x

W = 15x^2(1/2 to 0)

W = 15(1/2)^2 - 15(0)^2

W = 15(1/4) - 0

W = 15/4 ft. Ib

A chocolate bar measures 30 mm wide, 70 mm long, and (or 4.5) mm high. Will's Wrapping Company is making a wrapper to cover the
KiRa [710]

Hey there! I'm happy to help!

First, let's find the area of the top of the bar.

30×70=2100

This is the same as the bottom of the bar, so we have another 2100 mm, giving us 4200 in total.

Now we want to find the two long sides. This is 70×4.5, which is 315. Since there are two of these sides, we have another 315, giving us 630 in total there.

Now we have the short sides.

30×4.5=135

135×2=270

Now, we add up all of these measurements.

4200+630+270=5100

Therefore, Will's Wrapping Company will need 5100 mm² of paper to make their wrapper.

Have a wonderful day! :D
