Hey!~
I believe that the Monroe Doctrine should not be followed today. The Monroe Doctrine was a United States policy of opposing European colonialism in The Americas beginning in 1823. There is no need for that, for all people are created equal and we shouldn't be blocking them out. They have the right to come in unless they mean harm.
Hope this helps and have a great day!

Why was it wrong for the air traffic controllers to go on strike during the Reagan administration? They did not need higher wage
AleksAgata [21]
Back in 1981, for those of you who remember, August 5 was the day that then-president Ronald Reagan fired more than 11,000 striking air traffic controllers. The air traffic controllers were fired two days after their union, PATCO, declared a strike. They were demanding a pay raise, a shorter workweek, and better working conditions. It was a move that some historians say laid the groundwork for today's assault on labor. Hope that helps, but if not visit this ∨

Why did chiang kai-shek believe the Communists were more dangerous than the Japanese
nadya68 [22]
Because he sees Japanese as disease from the outside but the communist is a disease from the inside and need to destroy before becoming an unstoppable force. Also the communist is a blocking of his plan to unify China in one flag to defeat the Japanese forces in the country.
