The conflict of Mystique torn between defending the people who hate her or using violence to gain human rights is an internal kind of conflict. The conflict arises from the irony of defending those who don't want her and using her own powers to kill people who hurt good people.

The correct answer is the following: option c. In the movie "X-Men: First Class" the character Mystique must decide between defending the people who hate her or using violence to gain human rights. In this scenario Mystique faces an internal type of conflict. An internal conflict is when the conflict is occurring within the individual's mind. In this case, Mystique has to make a decision between two options that make her feel uncomfortable. The struggle is of an internal type, and her decision is the only way to find a solution to it.

Write an essay of at least 250 words that summarizes the main points of the essay by Langston Hughes. Use the information you ga

Answer: Do not copy/paste this answer. This is just to help you understand the main points of the essay.

"The Negro Artist and the Racial Mountain" was an essay written by Langston Hughes. The main point of this essay is to explain the position of blacks when it comes to their dreams. It isn't just with art, it refers to any dream of black people, such as medical, economic, or even political. This essay doesn't just cover how black people are judged. It describes how they feel because of the discrimination. If white people weren't bringing them down, then they could feel more confident about their goals. The black people who wish to paint follow their dreams with a lot of doubt, but they do it anyway because they believe in themselves just enough to do so. Racism is a huge obstacle for black artists who wish for others to recognize their work. This isn't just part of their job, but it's part of a racial dispute because of their color. That's the obstacle that is represented by the mountain. While it seems they'll never be able to climb it, they can. Everyone should be allowed to follow their dreams no matter what. Nothing can set them back even if it seems like it might. So in conclusion, the main point of this essay is to explain how black people feel when it comes to their dreams in life. They have a huge mountain to climb in life, but some of them lack the confidence to do so due to racial discrimination. But they can achieve their dreams nonetheless.

In at least 100 words, explain whose hidden agenda led Giles to be crushed to death with stones.
larisa86 [58]
In order to put pressure on Corey to give an answer, the courts tortured the man, placing large stones on his chest to force him to say something. Despite the horrific pain, Corey refuses to incriminate himself or any of his friends and neighbors, simply asking for "more weight" before he dies from the crushing burden of the stones. This leaves the community, and the Proctors in particular, with the impression that Corey was "a fearsome man." He is respected for his strength and courage in the face of the court's insane practices. Being a landowner in this time, was seen as having power. It was something sought after by many men and they would stop at nothing to get what they wanted. Putnam wanted more and more land and Corey Giles owned land.

Write 2 sentences of your own illustrating the first two subject-verb agreement rules?
Rama09 [41]
Rule 1. A subject will come before a phrase beginning with of. This is a key rule for understanding subjects. The word of is the culprit in many, perhaps most, subject-verb mistakes. A bouquet of yellow roses lends color and fragrance to the room. Rule 2. Two singular subjects connected by or, either/or, or neither/nor require a singular verb. My aunt or my uncle is arriving by train today.

The approach to criticism that determines what the writer said is _____. evaluation interpretation scanning analysis
Montano1993 [528]
This is called interpretation.

This is when critics want to find meaning in what an author has written. Analysis is much broader while scanning is incorrect. Evaluation is also inappropriately used here.
