Limbic system – group of structures that forms border around brain stem

Amygdala - Amygdala – emotion, connecting fear and anxiety

Hippocampus – memory

Endocrine system – group of glands that produce hormones to regulate metabolism, growth and development, tissue function, sexual function, reproduction, sleep, mood

Pineal gland – produces melatonin, for sleep functions

Pituitary gland – hormones help with growth, sex organs, reproduction, metabolism

Other parts of endocrine system: thyroid gland, thymus, adrenal gland, pancreas, ovary/testis

Sympathetic nervous system – part of the autonomic nervous system most active in times of danger, called the “fight or flight” system

Peripheral nervous system – the input-output division of the nervous system messages carried by nerves sensory/afferent carry into central nervous systemmotor/efferent carry out of central nervous system branches within peripheral nervous system somatic nervous system (controls voluntary reactions)autonomic nervous system (regulates involuntary reactions)autonomic nervous system branches sympathetic nervous system (body becomes to expend energy) parasympathetic nervous system (concerned with increasing energy reserves)Central nervous system – the executive or decision-making component of the nervous system; takes information received from peripheral nervous system and attempts to process it so that adaptive reactions can be initiated spinal cord spinal reflexes (controls certain behaviors without requiring involvement from the brain)

Why taenia solium is not digested by human intestines?
Rina8888 [55]

Answer:

that's an pretty interesting question

Explanation:

For the simple reason that no digestion takes place in the human intestines. Digestion takes place in the stomach. Intestines are where the nutrients are absorbed into the body, and the conditions there are much more favourable for parasites like tapeworms. The stomach produces hydrochloric acid strong enough to burn a hole in a rug and is also home to lot of other strong digestive enzymes. Any tapeworm venturing there would get digested in seconds.

Vasodilation have positive effects on the afterload and blood pressure.

<h3>What effect does vasodilation have on the afterload? </h3>

Vasodilation have positive effects on the afterload because afterload goes down when aortic pressure and systemic vascular resistance decreases through vasodilation.

<h3>What effect does vasodilation have on blood pressure?</h3>

Vasodilation is a mechanism which occurs in order to enhance blood flow to areas of the body that are lacking oxygen and nutrients. The vasodilation causes a decrease in systemic vascular resistance (SVR) and an increase in blood flow that results in reducing blood pressure.

<h3>How will her body try to bring her blood pressure back to homeostasis?</h3>

Her body try to bring her blood pressure back to homeostasis by increasing width of the blood vessels.

To make a positive change in the environment.

We have to Stimulate birds with 3 different beaks by feeding them fruit to stimulate a positive change in the environment because birds control insect and rodent in the environment that causes severe damage to crops. It also contributes to pollination, and seed dispersal which result in great benefits to people. Annually insects destroy hundreds of millions of dollars of agricultural and forest products so if we provide safe environment to the birds they can save our millions of dollars.
