Limbic system – group of structures that forms border around brain stem

Amygdala - Amygdala – emotion, connecting fear and anxiety

Hippocampus – memory

Endocrine system – group of glands that produce hormones to regulate metabolism, growth and development, tissue function, sexual function, reproduction, sleep, mood

Pineal gland – produces melatonin, for sleep functions

Pituitary gland – hormones help with growth, sex organs, reproduction, metabolism

Other parts of endocrine system: thyroid gland, thymus, adrenal gland, pancreas, ovary/testis

Sympathetic nervous system – part of the autonomic nervous system most active in times of danger, called the “fight or flight” system

For the answer to the question above, one of the side effects of carbon in the environment is the global warming or Climate change. The Carbon dioxide traps the heat of the sun from escaping the atmosphere. This results to increase in global temperature which causes the ocean water to evaporate than usual and creates super typhoons.
