You should use the general formula for the perimeter of a rectangle which would be p=2(l+w). We then substitute 92 for the perimeter and 28 for the length. We now have 92=2(28+w). following this, we have 46=28+w and then w=18. The width is 18 feet so C is the answer.
I think this is right.

Perimeter of a rectangle=2(length)+2(widh)

Data:
Perimeter=92 feet
length=28 ft

therefore:
92 feet=2(28 feet)+2(width)
2(width)=92 feet-56 feet
2 (width)=36 feet
width=36 feet/2
width=18 feet.

Answer: C. 18 feet.

Answer:

a = 5120

b = 1.25

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the exponential function representing the given table is,

f(x) = a(b)^x

Here, f(x) = Number of views

x = Number of weeks

We choose two points from the given table and satisfy the equation of the function.

Let the points are (0, 5120) and (1, 6400)

For a point (0, 5120),

f(0) = a(b)⁰ = 5120

a = 5120

Now for the second point (1, 6400),

6400 = 5120(b)¹

b = \frac{6400}{5120}

b = 1.25

Therefore, a = 5120 and b = 1.25 are the values.

Sidana [21]

Answer:

x2-5x-8=0

Step-by-step explanation:

Two solutions were found :

x =(5-√57)/2=-1.275

x =(5+√57)/2= 6.275

Reformatting the input :

Changes made to your input should not affect the solution:

(1): "x2"   was replaced by   "x^2".

Step by step solution :

Step  1  :

Trying to factor by splitting the middle term

1.1     Factoring  x2-5x-8

The first term is,  x2  its coefficient is  1 .

The middle term is,  -5x  its coefficient is  -5 .

The last term, "the constant", is  -8

Step-1 : Multiply the coefficient of the first term by the constant   1 • -8 = -8

Step-2 : Find two factors of  -8  whose sum equals the coefficient of the middle term, which is   -5 .

    -8 + 1 = -7

    -4+  2 = -2

    -2+  4 = 2

    -1 +   8 = 7

I need 7,714 solar panels to power my new workshop. If each box contains 24 panels, about how many boxes should I purchase?
liraira [26]
You should purchase 322 boxes. If you take 7.714 decided by 24 solar panels per box, you get 321.416667 and because you can purchase .416667 of a box, you round up to 322
