Since Tom sold 60% of 90 cookies and 60% of 90 is 54 and Scott sold 2/3 of 150 cookies, 2/3 of 150 is 100, and Dawn sold 46 of the cookies. All the numbers of cookies added (54+100+46) is 200. You then have to half the numbers to get the percentage, so you do 23 of 100 which is 23%, Dawn sold 23% of the cookies proven.
You would reduce each of them down by dividing both the top and bottom by the same number, so 15/45 turns into 1/3 3/9 - 1/3 3/15 - 1/5 1/3 30/90 - 1/3 The only one that's different is 3/15
Note the only way I know that you can get this answer is to use the calculator that came with windows. I don't think even my programing language would get it.
The vertical scale factor for the graph and the function can be found by comparing the y-value of a point on f(x) to the y-value of a point on g(x). The graph conveniently marks two corresponding points with these y-values:
f(-2) = 2
g(-2) = -10
The value of k in g(x)=k·f(x) is the ratio of these y-values:
