the 2 numbers given are

23 876 and 3 254

in 23 876 - digit 2 is in the ten thousands place

which means value of 2 in ten thousands place is - 2 x 10 000 = 20 000

in 3 254 - digit 2 is in the hundreds place

the value of 2 in hundreds place is - 2 x 100 = 200

so when comparing the values of 2 in both numbers

we can divide the 2 numbers to see much bigger one number is

20 000 / 200 = 100

20 000 is 100 times bigger than 200

therefore answer is value of digit 2 in 23 876 is 100 times greater than value of digit 2 in 3 254

Answer:- The value of 2  in 23,876 is 100 times greater than the value of the digit 2 in 3,254.

Explanation:-

In 23,876, 2 is at ten thousands place

Thus the place value of 2 is=20000

In 3,254, 2 is at hundreds place

Thus the place value of 2 is =200

Clearly, 20000=200×100=100 times 200

Thus, The value of 20000 is 100 times greater than 200.

∴The value of 2  in 23,876 is 100 times greater than the value of the digit 2 in 3,254.

For all of these you're trying to solve for the variable. The variable is usually a number or symbol.

11) -44+n=36
Step one would be to add 44 to both sides of the equation.

N=80

12) -36=p-91
Step one would be to add -91 to both sides of the equation.

P=55

13) X-225=671
Step one you be to add 225 to both sides of the equation. Although it may seem difficult because of the big numbers, it's the same technique.

14) 19=c-(-12)
Step one on this equation will be a little different. Because there are two negative signs (-), they turn into a plus sign. Remember, two negative signs make a positive sign.

19=c+12

Now you just subtract 12 from each side of the equation.

6=C
