The term 'audience' refers to the readers a writer intends to reach.

In the writing process, the term 'audience' makes reference to the people the author is writing for. A writer must take his/her audience into account and identify it clearly during the writing process because it is the audience the one that determines the content and the tone of that piece of writing. Moreover, an author's language and his/her word choice are also determined by the audience.

Compare the words goal and mole how are they alike and how are they different
Alex73 [517]

The words goal and mole have several similarities, but also several differences. When it comes to the similarities, these two words rhyme - they only differ in their initial letter (g and m), but apart from that, they sound pretty much the same. Other than that, both words are nouns - they belong to the same group of words.

When it comes to their differences, the obvious one is that they have completely unrelated meanings. Even though they sound similar, their meanings are nothing alike.
