The axis of symmetry is 3 because we already know the value of h and k from vertex equation also known as y=a(x-h)²+k when a≠0

If you want to know the equation of symmetry, it is -b/2a when a ≠ 0

\frac{-b}{2a} But if we want to use this formula, we have to convert the vertex form into standard form.

y=2(x^2-6x+9)+4\\y=2(x^2-6x+9)+13\\y=2x^2-12x+9+13\\y=2x^2-12x+22

Therefore, the standard form of y=2(x-3)²+4 is 2x²-6x+22

We can use the axis of symmetry formula or -b/2a

From the equation, b is -12 and a is 2. Substitute both b and a in the -b/2a

Thus, -(-12)/2(2) = 12/4 = 3 #

Therefore, the axis of symmetry is 3. Using the Axis of Symmetry Formula, -b/2a

Step-by-step explanation:

Ben\ invited\ p\ peoples\\\\

Charges of birthday party:

Flat\ fees=\$ 45\\\\Per\ person\ charges=\$ 5.50\\\\Charges\ for\ p\ people=p\times per\ person\ charges\\\\Charges\ for\ p\ people=p\times 5.50\\\\Charges\ for\ p\ people=5.50p\\\\Total\ charges\ for\ party=flat\ fee+charges\ for\ p\ person\\\\Total\ charges\ for\ party=45+5.50p

Ben\ has\ money=\$ 80\\\\Ben\ can\ not\ spend\ more\ than\ that.\\\\\Rightarrow Party\ charges\ for\ p\ peoples\leq 80\\\\5.50p+45\leq 80\\\\5.50p+45-45\leq 80-45\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ subtract\ 45\ from\ both\ sides\\\\5.50p\leq  35\\\\p\leq \frac{35}{5.5}\\\\p\leq 6.36\approx 6\\\\p\leq  6

Answer:

MOP = DAB

Step-by-step explanation:

the sides have to be matched up as well. the side with only one dash (MO) has to correspond with the side with one dash from the other triangle (DA). Thus, the letters in the sequence (MOP) have to match up in the same order (DAB)
