Often time, movies always had the good guys and the bad guys.
To be more honest, every conflicts that happened throughout the histoy is simply happened because there were 2 sides that confront each other for different interests
as for who is 'bad' and who is 'good', it depended entirely to the side that the story teller is on</span>
Frederick Douglass changed his name in order to escape the identity that given by his old master when he's still a slave.
Back then, his names had several similarities with pretty famous figure and he did not want to convey the false mistakes that they're in any way related from one another.
Primary sources are valuable to historians because they give insight into the ways in which historical figures understood or internalized what they experienced, their place or significance in history, and give historians an understanding of historical figures' opinions.
