The two triangles are congruent by AAS postulate

Step-by-step explanation:

The cases of congruence  are:

1. SSS  ⇒ 3 sides in the 1st Δ ≅ 3 sides in the 2nd Δ

2. SAS ⇒ 2 sides and including angle in the 1st Δ ≅ 2 sides and

     including angle in the 2nd Δ

3. ASA ⇒ 2 angles and the side whose joining them in the 1st Δ

     ≅ 2 angles and the side whose joining them in the 2nd Δ

4. AAS ⇒ 2 angles and one side in the 1st Δ ≅ 2 angles

    and one side in the 2nd Δ

5. HL ⇒ hypotenuse leg of the 1st right angle Δ ≅ hypotenuse

    leg of the 2nd right angle Δ

In the attached figure The 2 Δs AED and CDE

∵ ∠A ≅ ∠C

∵ ∠E ≅ ∠D ⇒ right angles

∵ ED ≅ DE ⇒ common side

- 2 angles and one side in the 1st Δ ≅ 2 angles  and one side in the

  2nd Δ

∴ Δ AED ≅ Δ CDE by AAS postulate ⇒ case 4

The two triangles are congruent by AAS postulate

Y=3/4x - 6 find the x-intercept of the line
Ede4ka [16]

Answer:

The x intercept is (8,0)

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the x intercept set y = 0 and solve for x

Y=3/4x - 6

0 =3/4x - 6

6 = 3/4x

4/3 *6 = 4/3*3/4x

8 =x

The x intercept is (8,0)
