The correct answer is C) 2,0!

It seems confusing at first bc to find the midpoint you subtract the coordinates, however if you do this you get 8,0. this is incorrect.

To find the right answer, subtract the y values to get 0. Find on the graph where the y coordinate is equal to 0. In this situation when y = 0, x = 2. This means the correct answer is C.

The table shows the results of an experiment in which subjects taking either a drug or a placebo either reported fatigue or did
Lady bird [3.3K]

Answer:

Therefore, the correct options are;

-P(fatigue) = 0.44

P(fatigue \left |  \right drug) = 0.533

--P(drug and fatigue) = 0.32

P(drug)·P(fatigue) = 0.264

Step-by-step explanation:

Here we have that for dependent events,

P(A \, and \, B)= P(A)\times  P(B\left |  \right A )

From the options, we have;

P(fatigue \left |  \right drug) = 0.533

P(drug) = 0.6

P(drug and fatigue) = 0.32

Therefore

P(drug and fatigue) = P(drug)×P(fatigue \left |  \right drug)

= 0.6 × 0.533 = 0.3198 ≈ 0.32 = P(drug and fatigue)

Therefore, the correct options are;

-P(fatigue) = 0.44

P(fatigue \left |  \right drug) = 0.533

--P(drug and fatigue) = 0.32

P(drug)·P(fatigue) = 0.264

Since P(fatigue) = 0.44 ∴ P(drug) = 0.264/0.44 = 0.6.

What conclusions can you draw about the roots of the equation x^3+x^2-2x+12=0
nexus9112 [7]

Answer:

x=-3

Step-by-step explanation:

If x=-3, then

x³+x²-2x+12=-27+9+6+12=-27+27=0

If this is true, then x+3 is a factor. So:

x³+x²-2x+12/x+3=x²-2x+4

So the factors of x³+x²-2x+12 are:

(x+3)(x²-2x+4)

((x²-2x+4) has no real roots)........

James bought 5 1/6pounds of grapes for $7.75. At theunit rate, how much would 3.4 pounds of grapes cost?
frutty [35]

Answer:

Explanation:

5 1/6 pounds of graphs are bought for $7.75, meaning 1 pound costs

\frac{7.75\text{ dollars}}{5\frac{1}{6}lb}

And we need to compute the division above.

The first step is to convert the mixed number 5 1/6 into an improper fraction.

Now, it is true that

5\frac{1}{6}=5+\frac{1}{6}

multiplying 5 by 6/6 gives

5\cdot\frac{6}{6}+\frac{1}{6}\frac{30}{6}+\frac{1}{6}
