It takes 9 hrs 19.8 minutes  for the student teacher to grade the exams if they worked alone

<u>Solution:</u>

Let the efficiency of the school teacher be “x” and the efficiency of the student teacher be “y”

Here the word efficiency means the rate of doing work

Let the total work to be completed be W

According to the question,

The time taken by the school teacher to complete the work is 7 hrs.

So we can write it in equation form

W = x \times 7  ---- eqn 1

where W is the total work and x is the efficiency

Similarly for student teacher and school teacher doing the work simultaneously, we can write the equation as

W =(x +y ) \times 4

Equating eqn 1 and 2

x \times 7=(x+y) \times 4

7x = 4x + 4y

3x = 4y

So in ratio x : y = 4 : 3

Now putting value of x = 4 in equation (1) we get total work to be 28

Now, <em>total time taken by the student teacher = total work ÷ efficiency of student teacher</em>

Hence, total time taken by the student teacher = 28 ÷ 3 = 9.33 hrs

= 9 hrs 19.8 minutes

Hence it takes 9 hrs 19.8 minutes  for the student teacher to grade the exams if they worked alone

Answer:

[2×10*(-3) × (4×10*(4)] = 80

Step-by-step explanation:

First of all 0.002 is 10*(-3) and not 10(-2) , so you can eliminate the first 2 answers.

Second of all, according to the calculator the left equation is correct, while the right one isn't... so there you go

Glad to help :)

If you roll two six-faced dice together, you will get 36 possible outcomes. 4 pts 1. List all possible outcomes of the experimen
bezimeni [28]

Given:

Two dice are rolled together.

Total number of possible outcomes.

To find:

The list of total possible outcomes.

The probability of getting a sum of 11 in these outcomes.

The probability of getting a sum less than or equal to 4.

The probability of getting a sum of 13 or more.

Solution:

If two dice are rolled together, then the total number of possible outcomes is 36 and list of total possible outcomes is

S = {(1,1),(1,2),(1,3),(1,4),(1,5),(1,6),(2,1),(2,2),(2,3),(2,4),(2,5),(2,6),(3,1),(3,2),(3,3),(3,4),(3,5),(3,6),(4,1),(4,2),(4,3),(4,4),(4,5),(4,6),(5,1),(5,2),(5,3),(5,4),(5,5),(5,6),(6,1),(6,2),(6,3),(6,4),(6,5),(6,6)}

Sum of 11 in these outcomes = {(5,6),(6,5),(6,6)} = 3

The probability of getting a sum of 11 in these outcomes is

P(\text{sum=11})=\dfrac{3}{36}

P(\text{sum=11})=\dfrac{1}{12}

Therefore, the probability of getting a sum of 11 in these outcomes is \dfrac{1}{12}.

Sum less than or equal to 4 = {(1,1),(1,2),(1,3),(2,1),(2,2),(3,1)} = 6

The probability of getting a sum less than or equal to 4 is

P({sum\leq 4})=\dfrac{6}{36}

P({sum\leq 4})=\dfrac{1}{6}

Therefore, the probability of getting a sum less than or equal to 4 is \dfrac{1}{6}.

Sum of 13 or more = empty set because maximum sum is 12.

The probability of getting a sum of 13 or more is

P(sum\geq 13)=\dfrac{0}{36}

P({sum\geq 13})=0

Therefore, the probability of getting a sum of 13 or more is 0.

If you think about how it works when cups are stacked. you will begin with the height of the cup plus the height of the lip you would then add just the heigt of the lips until you get to the height needed. so your answer should be 19 cups
