Coterminal angles are angles that share the same initial side and have a common terminal side. The attached diagram labels the initial and terminal sides, along with example coterminal angles for 45°.

So now let's find the coterminal angles for the one you were given. To find a coterminal with a given angle, simply add or subtract 360° to the angle you were given.

-50° + 360° = 310°
-50° - 360° = -410°

310° and -410° are two coterminal angles with a -50° angle.

galina1969 [7]

To write an equation in standard form, move each term to the left side of the equation and simplify.

ax2+bx+c = 0ax2+bx+c = 0

Move all the expressions to the left side of the equation.

−17−8x2−4x+3x2 = 0-17-8x2-4x+3x2 = 0

Add −8x2-8x2 and 3x23x2.

−17−5x2−4x = 0-17-5x2-4x = 0

Reorder the polynomial.

5x2+4x+17 = 0

Hello there!

For this you simply need to give both fractions a common denominator!

The easiest way to do this specific problem would be to make the denominator 12. Why 12? Because 4 x 3 = 12.

So:

1/4 --> ?/12 --> 1 (3) / 12 --> 3/12

2/3 --> ?/12 --> 2 (4) / 12 --> 8/12

Total amount of time means the sum (adding them together).

When adding fractions, you MUST have a common denominator! (Which is what we just did).

So 3/12 + 8/12 = (8+3) / 12 = 11/12 hours

Notice how the denominator stayed the same? When adding/subtracting fractions, the denominator stays the same! :)

Hope this helped!
