To figure out percetages on tests, divide the number of questions answered correctly by the total number of questions.

66 ÷ 78 = 0.85

Next, move the decimal point over two places.

0.85 = 85%

Shawn got 85% on the science test.

Hi there! ;) The answer to your question is 0.85 or 85%. I got the answer because I divided 66/78(66 divided by 78) which equals 0.845 but I rounded it because 5,6,7,8,9 means round up.

Hope I helped! :D

Given: y = 3x - 4. What is the x-intercept? (0, -4) ( 4/3 , 0) (0, 4/3 )
Vera_Pavlovna [14]

This equation is in slope-intercept form of y = mx + b form.

The m represented by the coefficient of the x term

represents the slope and b represents the y-intercept.

So our y-intercept is -4 and we can write this as the ordered pair (0, -4).

1/2−3(1/2+1)^2<br><br><br> Enter your answer, as a simplified fraction
o-na [289]

Answer:

- \frac{25}{4}

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{1}{2} -3 (\frac{1}{2} + 1)²

Calculate sum

\frac{1}{2} -3x (\frac{3}{2})²

To raise a fraction to a power raise numerator and denominator to that power

\frac{1}{2} -3 x \frac{9}{4}

Calculate product

\frac{1}{2} - \frac{27}{4}

Subtract fractions

-\frac{25}{4}

If Sarah drives 55 miles per hour, how long will it take her to drive from<br> Amityville to Denton?
Bess [88]

Answer:

29.5 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

Amityville to Denton is 1625 miles.

Since we know that Sarah drives at 55 mph we can divide 1625/55 and get 29.45454... and I assume that they want it rounded so it will be around 29.5 hours
