It is true that it is an injustice when someone is sent to jail for a crime he or she didn't commit.

Explanation: People are sent to the jail and are imprisoned if they have committed a crime and the purpose of sending them to the jail is to improve them and to make them feel guilty about the crime that they have committed so that they can feel sorry about it.

But sending those people to the jail who have not even committed the crime is considered to be an injustice thing and is not fair on the part of the officials to send such people to the jails or to punish them for the thing they have not even done.

Why was the 1868 constiution rejected by the voters?
Rina8888 [55]

The Constitution of the State of Mississippi, also known as the Mississippi Constitution, is the governing document for theU.S. state of Mississippi. It describes and enumerates the structures and functions of the Mississippian state government and lists the rights and privileges that are held by the state's residents and citizens. It was adopted on November 1, 1890.

Throughout its existence as a U.S. state, Mississippi has had four state-level constitutions. The first one was created in 1817, upon Mississippi's ascension from a U.S. territory to that of a U.S. state. It was used until 1832, when the second constitution was created and adopted to end property ownership as a prerequisite for voting, which was limited to white men in the state at the time. The third constitution, adopted in 1868 and ratified the following year, was the first Mississippian constitution to be approved and ratified by the people of the state at large and bestowed state citizenship to all of the state's residents, namely newly freed slaves. The fourth constitution was adopted in November 1890 and was created by a convention consisting mostly of Democratsin order to prevent the state's African American citizens from voting. The provisions preventing them from voting were repealed in 1975, after the United States Supreme Court in the 1960s had ruled them to have violated the tenets of the Constitution of the United States.

The current Mississippian state constitution has been amended and updated several times in the more than twelve decades since its original adoption in November 1890, with some sections being changed or repealed altogether. The most recent modification to have been made to the state's constitution occurred in June 2013.

Someone know the Second Sino-Japanese War?
stellarik [79]

Answer:

The Second Sino-Japanese War (1937–1945) was a military conflict that was primarily waged

between the Republic of China and the Empire of Japan. The war made up the Chinese theater

of the wider Pacific Theater of the Second World War. The beginning of the war is

conventionally dated to the Marco Polo Bridge Incident on 7 July 1937, when a dispute

between Japanese and Chinese troops in Peking escalated into a full-scale invasion. This

full-scale war between the Chinese and the Empire of Japan is often regarded as the

beginning of World War II in Asia. In 2017 the Ministry of Education in the People's

Republic of China decreed that the term "eight-year war" in all textbooks should be

replaced by "fourteen-year war", with a revised starting date of 18 September 1931 provided

by the Japanese invasion of Manchuria. According to historian Rana Mitter, historians in

China are unhappy with the blanket revision, and (despite sustained tensions) the Republic

of China did not consider itself to be continuously at war with Japan over these six years.

The Tanggu Truce of 1933 officially ended the earlier hostilities in Manchuria while the

He-Umezu Agreement of 1935 acknowledged the Japanese demands to put an end to all anti-

Japanese organizations in China.

The war was the result of a decades-long Japanese imperialist policy to expand its

influence politically and militarily in order to secure access to raw material reserves,

food, and labor. The period after World War I brought about increasing stress on the

Japanese policy. Leftists sought universal suffrage and greater rights for workers[citation

needed]. Increasing textile production from Chinese mills was adversely affecting Japanese

production and the Great Depression brought about a large slowdown in exports. All of this

contributed to militant nationalism, culminating in the rise to power of a militarist

faction. This faction was led at its height by the Hideki Tojo cabinet of the Imperial Rule

Assistance Association under edict from Emperor Hirohito. In 1931, the Mukden Incident

helped spark the Japanese invasion of Manchuria. The Chinese were defeated and Japan

created a new puppet state, Manchukuo; many historians cite 1931 as the beginning of the

war. This view has been adopted by the PRC government. From 1931 to 1937, China and Japan

continued to skirmish in small, localized engagements, so-called "incidents".
