Since we already have the measurement of the adjacent side and we want to find the hypotenuse, we use the cosine to find our answer.

$\cos( \alpha ) = \frac{adjecent}{hyptenuse}$
$\cos(24) = \frac{11}{x}$

Therefore
$x = \frac{11}{ \cos(24) } = 12.0$
Hence, the length of x is about 12.0
