What is the measure of a single angle of deviation on a regular octagon?
ira [324]

The measure of a single angle of deviation on a regular octagon is 45 degrees.

<h3>Polygons</h3>

An octagon is a shape with 8 sides and 8 angles. The sum of an interior angle of an octagon is 1080 degrees.

<h3>Point of interseection</h3>

The point where the intersection of lines meets forms an angle of 45 degrees. Hence based on the given question, we can conclude that the measure of a single angle of deviation on a regular octagon is 45 degrees.

Please help me so I wont get the belt...<br><br> And a meme to make you feel better!!
lapo4ka [179]

Answer:

Part A= 36% I got my answer by subtracting the part from the total.

Part B= The total number of sixth graders on academic teams is 124. I got this by adding the 45% and the 36% to get 81% and then add the total number of students in both schools, which was 124. So then 81% of 155 is 124.

Step-by-step explanation:

100% - 64% = 36%

_____________________

45% + 36% = 81%

80 + 75 = 155

80% of 155 is 124

Hey, Its the same person. This is Algebra 2. Please Help!
suter [353]

Answer:

first option

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

f(x) = \frac{2x^2+5x-12}{x+4} ← factorise the numerator

     = \frac{(x + 4)(2x-3)}{x+4} ← cancel (x + 4) on numerator/ denominator

     = 2x - 3

Cancelling (x + 4) creates a discontinuity ( a hole ) at x + 4 = 0, that is

x = - 4

Substitute x = - 4 into the simplified f(x) for y- coordinate

f(- 4) = 2(- 4) - 3 = - 8 - 3 = - 11

The discontinuity occurs at (- 4, - 11 )

To obtain the zero let f(x) = 0, that is

2x - 3 = 0 ⇒ 2x = 3 ⇒ x = \frac{3}{2}

There is a zero at ( \frac{3}{2}, 0 )

Thus

discontinuity at (- 4, - 11 ), zero at ( \frac{3}{2}, 0 )
