Harry is incorrect. If Harry only ate 3/8 of the pizza and Aidan ate 1/2 of the pizza, Harry ate less pizza. Because 1/2 equals 4/8 and 4/8 is greater than 3/8, Aidan ate more pizza than Harry.

Hope this helps!!

myrzilka [38]

Answer: The cost of 5.5 pounds strawberries =$ 7.98

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: A local grocery story has strawberries on sale for $1.45 per pound.

i.e. Cost for 1 pound strawberries = $1.45

Now, Cost of 5.5 pounds strawberries =  5.5 x (Cost for 1 pound strawberries)

= $ (5.5 x  1.45)

= $ 7.975 ≈ $ 7.98   [ Round to the nearest penny]

Hence, the cost of 5.5 pounds strawberries =$ 7.98

Jodi is cutting out pieces of paper that measure 8 1/2 inches by 11 inches from a larger sheet of paper that has an area of 1000
jolli1 [7]
8 1/2 or 8.5 x11 = 93.5 square inches thus,
1000 square inches divided by 93.5 square inches
1000/93.5 ~10.695
that mean that Jodi can cut out about 10 pieces of paper measuring 8 1/2 x 11 inches.
