The unit price of Brand A pencil is 0.312 and unit price of Brand B pencil is 0.356. Brand A pencil is better to buy based on unit price

<u>Solution:</u>

Given that

Brand A has packed 24 pencils for 7.49

Brand B has packed 28 pencils for 9.97

Need to find the unit price of pencil for each brand.

For Brand A, price of 24 pencils = 7.49

So price of 1 pencil of brand A =\frac{7.49}{24}=0.312

For Brand B, price of 28 pencils = 9.97

So price of 1 pencil of brand B =\frac{9.97}{28}=0.356

As price if 1 pencil of brand A that is 0.312 is cheaper than 1 pencil of brand B that is 0.356

Hence good deal is to buy Brand A pencil

Formula for the perimeter of a quarter circle: C = ((pi x 2r) / 4) + 2r

C = ((3.14 x 18) / 4) + 18

C = (56.52 / 4) + 18

C = 14.13 + 18

C = 32.13 miles

Hope this helps! :)
