The answer is 10 because the square root of 16 is four and the square root of 25 is five and when you multiply those you get 20. if you then divde that number by the square root of four which is two you get 10

2x + y = 3
x = 2y - 1
Ad libitum [116K]
2x+ y = 3
x = 2y - 1
Make sure there are NO SPACES in your answer. Include a comma in your answer.
It looks like I could substitute the x=2y-1. Into 2x+y=3
2(2y-1)+y=3
4y-2+y=3
5y=5
y=1
x=2(1)-1
x=1

(1,1)
CHECK
2x+y=3
2(1)+(1)=3
2+1=3
3=3
Left hand side=Right hand side
Check other equation
x=2y-1
1=2(1)-1
1=1
Therefore the solution is (1,1). Since the left hand side= right hand side in each equation

Suzanne wrote the expression shown.

5 x (12 - 6) divided by 2
hoa [83]

Answer:

15

Step-by-step explanation:

according to PEMDAS (parentheses, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction) you would do 12 minus 6 first resulting in the answer of 6 so your equation would then be 5 x 6 divided by 2. 5 x 6 comes next in the equation and thats 30 so your new equation is 30 divided by 2. 30 divided by 2 is 15.
