Hi!

I've included the table so it's easier to visualize.

Divide the amount of students who like ping pong and dodge ball (26, it's highlighted in the image) by the total amount of students that like ping pong (44).

26/44 = 0.59

The answer is 0.59

Hope this helps! :)

kendra knits hats. She starts with 3 3/4 yd of yarn. After knitting for 5 1/4 h their is 1 1/8 yd of yarn left. At what rate doe
nadezda [96]

Answer:

The rate is  1 ÷ 2 yards per hour

Step-by-step explanation:

The computation of the rate does the amount of yarn changes is given below:

= 3 3 ÷ 4 - 1 1 ÷8

= 15 ÷ 4 - 9 ÷ 8

= 21 ÷ 8 yards

 Now divide the above fraction by the number of hours

= 21 ÷ 8 yards ÷ 5 1 ÷ 4

= 21 ÷ 8 ×  4 ÷ 21

= 1 ÷ 2 yards per hour

Hence, the rate is  1 ÷ 2 yards per hour

Where is the solution located on a graph a system of equations?
geniusboy [140]
For a system of two variables and two equations, each equation will be a linear graph, and where the lines intersect is the solution as an ordered pair (x,y). If the lines don’t intersect (they’re parallel) so there is no unique solution.

Rewrite exponential expressions
Dahasolnce [82]

Answer:

A = 48

Step-by-step explanation:

In this equation, we can factor out the expression (\frac{1}{7} )^x. If we do so, the expression becomes:

(\frac{1}{7})^x((\frac{1}{7})^{-2} - 1)

We can simplify to get:

(\frac{1}{7} )^x(49 - 1)

and get:

48*(\frac{1}{7})^x

Therefore, A = 48

What is the equation of the line h Th ya has a y intercept of (0,-3) and passes through the point (-9,-9)
Nikolay [14]

Answer:

The line equation is given as: 3 y = 2 x - 9

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, Y intercept   is at point ( 0.-3)

So, at x = 0, y = -3

or, C  = -3

Also, the point on the equation line is (x,y)  = (-9,-9)

Now, by <u>SLOPE INTERCEPT FORM</u> of a line equation,we get:

y = m x + C   :  m  = slope of line  ......... (1)

So, substituting the values of C and (x,y) , we get:

-9  = m (-9)  + (-3)

or, -9 + 3  = - 9 m

or, m =  -6/-9  = 2/3

or, m = 2/3

Now, substitute the value of m back in to the line equation (1)

y = m x + C   \implies  y = (\frac{2}{3}) x - 3\\\implies 3y = 2x - 9

Hence, the line equation is given as: 3 y = 2 x - 9.
